Technical Support Specialist - Full Time!

PSG has partnered up with one of its most prestigious clients in the Cambridge area. A very well known private coeducational graduate school. We are looking for Technical support Specialists to start as soon as possible to be part of the school's IT technology department. They are willing to train the right candidate for this position This role has a lot of room for growth and networking opportunities. 

Responsibilities:

Provide remote support for computer system related issues.
Effectively give out technical troubleshooting steps to users over the phone.
Solve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
Install computer peripherals for users.
Follow up with students and staff to ensure issue has been resolved.

Desktop Support (Framingham, MA)

RATE: 20.00/hr 

One Year Contract ! Ends 03/2014

Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Experience Level: (Intermediate, 3 - 5 Years Desktop Support Experience). This position is a desktop support position. Job responsibilities include laptop/desktop and printer support. Candidate will work directly with the end user to resolve both hardware and software issues. Must have experience troubleshooting: Windows 7/XP, Office 2003-2010, Networking, Laptop/desktop hardware. The ideal candidate will also have experience with: data migration and backup, SCCM/OSD, and system deployment. A+ certification highly preferred. 

Web Designer

Web Designer Needed-Boston Area
Web Designer needed for full-time position within the Media & Public Relations Department of well-known college in Boston area. Candidate will report to the Art Director and be responsible for the re-design and design of the college website including e-commerce bookstore pages, as well as ongoing maintenance and updates. Additionally, the position will assist with printed projects on an as-needed basis. 

Must Have Skill:
• Strong understanding of HTML 
• CSS 
• JavaScript 
• Flash 
• Photoshop 
• Familiarity with cross-browser issues and creation of compatible designs
• Ability to learn new programs relevant to web development is a plus 
• Database knowledge (PHP scripting, MySQL, etc.)
